On Tuesday, September 7 at 7:00 pm the Outreach Bible Study at Ebert’s Furniture will begin a new study on Judges – “The Worst of the Bible”.

Helping out the Homeless - On September 13 a team will be ministering at The Bethesda Center for the homeless. We need dessert items brought to church during the day on September 13.

M.A.D.4X Youth Rally Sunday, September 19 at Children’s Home.
Quilt Raffle - The UMYF will be raffling off a handmade quilt by Liz White again this year. Please see any of the youth to purchase a raffle ticket.

Acolyte and Bible Training Sunday, September 19 at 4:00 pm. Bell Ringer will added to the role of this ministry. We encourage all young children to participate. See Amy Wells.

Financial Audits are due from various committees by Sun. Sept. 19 to C.O. Setzer.

Mark your calendars! Chicken Pie Sale coming up on September 19-21st. Volunteers are needed. Sign-up sheets are located outside the Gathering Place. Sponsored by the Finance Committee. Orders are now being taken. Cost $5.00 for 6” deep dish & $9.00 for 9”. See insert for order sheet.

The Christmas Store will be on Nov. 13, 8 am to 1 pm. Mark your calendars for some shopping and a yummy breakfast or lunch. To reserve your table call Amy Wells at 764-5467. Church groups raising funds for ministries, there is no charge. Individual crafters will be charged $15 per space. (These funds go to the church.)
