A Food Drive Challenge – Charlotte vs Denver Brought to you by the people of The United Methodist Church—February 7.

As we look forward to the Panthers claiming their first Super Bowl victory, the United Methodist Churches in Charlotte have accepted a challenge from our brothers and sisters in Denver to a Food Drive and we are inviting you to join us. The contest is to see which city can collect the most non-perishable food items between now and the Big Game.

Suggestions include: soups, canned vegetables, peanut butter, canned meat, rice, dried beans…etc. All proceeds will go to Crisis Control Ministry from our church.

We will have a table inside the fellowship hall and one outside the sanctuary to collect any non-perishable foods until Super Bowl 50 Sunday at 11:59 pm. Collections will be distributed to our neighborhood Crisis Control Ministries in Winston-Salem, NC. Let’s “keep pounding” North Carolina!
